You did not mention whether you are a child or an adult snake. Intimidated some baby snakes (all types) from a large cage and better in 10 gallons, but they are still more. If you are not yet on another cage, I would suggest buying a size of 30-40 gallons, as the snake reaches adults + 3-4 meters long. If you put a baby snake in a large tank to provide enough hiding places, so it feels safe. I use a mixture of shredded paper on a substrate and Care Fresh ... It is easy to fall, I have a 7x9, the largest cave in plastic and integrated 2-12 "Tunnel (rolls of toilet paper, cardboard) into the substrate, plus a bowl of water and a rather large branch. This is my first python live (although I do a lot of experience with many types of snakes for many years) and I think my background, I have this snake in part as a volunteer rescue ... I was force-fed by its previous owner for some time. The second day here ate 3 mini frozen or thawed pinkies for me and 5 days later (Last Nite) takes moreSo I am very successful. I must mention the cage is a heating pad at one end and the light twice a day and nite to keep his hot too. She is very active in the nite, and how the industry. My tank is 20 gallons, as it grows and ends with a larger pool.

Do not listen to someone who this page food outside the cage. This idea is a stupid myth. Snake May as a kind of food for 24 hours, sometimes more. If you're a snake in a response to food rather bite you.

honestly, it depends on the size of the snake theme. provided that the Board of hiding to dive into something, and a separate area for eating (so they do not work if you hold the note for you to digest at least one hour before returning to try to tank) with honesty, a snake grow to their environment, but not the concept of "home" that a tank moving and when they overlap, they may think of their new place. therefore not be huge, just remember that when the tank is HUGE .. Feed not in the same tank, if you want!
